Looking for the perfect venue for the next company picnic? Whether your event is for five, 50 or 500 people, we have the space, ambiance and activities that will have everyone smiling and laughing together! Want it at your site or a park- we do that too!

2020 Summer Horse Camp Dates: Please note that previous experience is not required for participation in our camps. Riders will be grouped by experience and comfort level, and lessons will be tailored to each group's specific needs. Camps fill up quickly so please reserve your spot! For safety and effectiveness
Why Duke Farm? Our camps are designed to be both stand alone and progressive so no matter what your child's experience, she/he will learn new skills and have fun. Your child rider will have the opportunity to learn basic horsemanship and safety, riding skills, equine care, and stable management in a fun and safe environment. We believe in an encouraging and holistic approach to riding, so we offer a number of creative and project-based learning activities as well.
Please send your child prepared for the day; we recommend putting your child's name on all personal items. ~ Close-toed shoes preferably with a smooth sole and small heel. (No flip flops, minimal tread if using hiking boots, sneakers are ok) ~ Pants or leggings for riding. Your child is welcome to change into shorts during camp, but we require long pants or leggings while on horseback to protect legs and promote comfort. ~ Water in a refillable bottle. It is very important for young riders to stay hydrated. ~ Lunch and snacks. Please do not send your child with peanuts or food containing nuts in consideration of others who may have severe allergies. We do have refrigeration in the barn to keep food cool. ~ Sunscreen to protect skin. ~ Personal items your child may need during the day. ~ Cell phones for family contact are ok but we discourage all other electronics; we'll be busy having fun with horses!
We strive to build a lifelong connection and bond between you and a horse, A child’s laugh a pony’s whinny the lasting partnership — it’s what we see every day at the farm. We want to cultivate that relationship from the moment you walk in the barn, hence, we focus on comprehensive horsemanship rooted in a deep love of horses. Campers revel in every aspect of equine care. They can be silly, have fun, and form a unique bond with their favorite horse.
Our animals are very friendly and love to be fed and touched. Learn about chickens, hens, rabbits, goats, donkeys, alpacas and more. Imagine hands-on learning with our animals as your teachers. Children are able to ride a pony and hand lead some of the other animals. Don't forget your camera because our critters love getting their picture taken.
Our farm has a main playground for smaller children as well as a mid size animal play area where boys can be boys! They can run and jump on the hills and chase each other around our pond. Play in the log cabins and chase a duck.
Our cabin is open to the public and also used as a theme for holiday parties, You may see Santa on the porch or the Easter bunny hiding eggs. Great for family pictures and holiday get togethers. Bring the kids and have lunch under the pavilion. Read a book by the water or hold a bunny- it is up to you!
We accept cash and credit cards only. If using a credit card a service fee of 5% will apply.
Come visit our farm animal family. Our farm is run on community of volunteers who donate their time and we are always excited to show you around. The kids will enjoy our small animal petting area and chasing the ducks and goats in the outdoor animal area. We have a new bunny 'Rabbitat' for the kids to play in. Our pony rides are run by volunteers- so please remember to tip. Enjoy your lunch at the pavilion while watching the kids play in the playground.
This is a perfect event for school field trips, scouts, play-days, church youth groups, corporate groups and more. Tours are 2 1/2 hours (included is a 1/2 for lunch that you bring along). Your visit will be filled with fun educational facts and hands on experience with our farm animals.

Duke Farm has both a large and small interactive mobile animal center that provides a FUN relaxing environment to make your event an unforgettable experience for young and old alike. Packages include: Alpacas, cows, sheep, goats, donkeys, mules, goats, ducks, assorted chickens and bunnies. All themed to match your event!
Add a Unicorn Pony or Horse Rides
Imagine the look on your child's face when the magical unicorn enters the party. She will be dressed in white complete with her very own unicorn horn and magic rainbow colored mane and tail. (can be any theme i.e. cowboy, fantasy, rainbow, etc.)
Mini Pony and Cart:
Duke Petting Farm and Carriage Company in Temperance has pony carts! Kids love the small pony and cart! Just the right size for toddlers and small children to ride together and great photo opportunities for mom and dad. Will hold two to three small children. We offer Pony Rides in Toledo, and surrounding area.
Who doesn't love a carnival? We will provide a red and white game tent with additional carnival games and a clown to help with face paint and balloon animals. Small prizes are provided for the children.
Dressing up, clowning around, and taking pictures will be the highlight of your event and one of the main things your guests will remember from your party! We have exciting props and dress-up outfits. We supply the props and you take the pictures. From cowboy hats to crowns we have it all!
Add “a Clown”, “The Easter Bunny” or “Maggie Moo” our MASCOT cow character to your petting farm or event for more photo opportunities. Add bunny, clown, or cow costume to any package $75 per hour. Bunny, clown, or cow only $150 per hour.

Duke Farm is home to Little Blessings Veteran and Community Outreach which is a nonprofit organization that uses unique environments, integrative wellness programs and a variety of animals offering self-reflection, restoring faith, giving hope, and promoting a healthy future for our Community, our Veterans and their Families.
