We continually discover new things about nature, bees, and their remarkable social behavior. Working with bees is so calming and almost magical. You feel at one with nature, and whatever problems may have been on your mind tend to evaporate. There’s something about being out there on a lovely warm day, the intense focus of exploring the wonders of the hive, and hearing that gentle hum of contented bees — it instantly puts you at ease, melting away whatever day-to-day stresses that you might find creeping into your life
Flower planting, harvesting, and arranging can be a very enjoyable activity. Even the darkest of spirits brighten at the sight of a well-arranged bouquet of flowers. The more you enjoy it, the better you will get at flower arranging. Take home a bunch from the farm.
Wouldn’t you rather stroll amidst outdoor stalls of fresh produce on a sunny day than roll your cart around a grocery store with artificial lights and piped in music? It is a wonderful opportunity to savor the biodiversity of our planet. The farmers market is a community hub—a place to meet up with your friends, bring your children, or just get a taste of small-town life
Enjoy the experience of summer in the country and pick your own delicious, healthy fruits and vegetables for you and your family. Our season begins with the beautiful blooming plants and flowers being pollinated by our own honeybees living on our farm and ends with bright fall pumpkins.
We are lucky to be stewards of a wonderful 25-acre farm. The practice of homestead farming with horses and maintaining the knowledge of how to use horse drawn equipment is the most special feeling. We do it simply because we love it and the simplicity of just seeing guests relax and enjoy the peace is priceless. We grow hope at the farm!
We accept cash and credit cards only. If using a credit card a service fee of 5% will apply.
If you see the gate open stop on in and visit our animal family. We are always excited to show you around. The kids will enjoy our small animal petting area and chasing the ducks and goats in the outdoor animal area. We will give them a cup of food that they can share will all the animals. Enjoy lunch at the pavilion while watching the kids play in the playground.
